About The Chevrolet Malibu
The Chevrolet Malibu has been a staple of the automotive market since it was first reintroduced. A massively popular sedan that offers style, comfort, and practicality at a very attractive price point. With its excellent fuel economy, spacious interior, and remarkably smooth ride, the Malibu is a favorite road trip car for anyone who has ever had the pleasure of experiencing one. The Malibu looks good while doing it all as well with special editions adding even more flair including options like the Midnight Edition, Redline Edition, and Sport Edition. With features like standard wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, the Malibu is an absolutely unbeatable value.
What the Critics Say
"Striking styling distinguishes the Chevrolet Malibu, complete with sumptuous curves that evoke the luxurious Audi A7. Beyond the style there is true substance, with a comfortable ride, an almost absurdly quiet cabin, and undaunting controls. And, compared to the previous model, the rear seat now has more room." - Consumer Reports
"A popular midsize four-door with a spacious interior, a smooth suspension, and a fuel-efficient turbocharged engine, the Malibu has a long list of standard features. And with a starting price of just over $25,000, the Malibu is an excellent value. Inside there’s plenty of space for five, and the trunk is large enough for everyone’s luggage." - TrueCar

Chevrolet Malibu Features

Elegant Design
The design of the Chevrolet Malibu manages to be bold without being divisive and the result is that the good looks of the Malibu are almost always one of the first things brought up about it. To stand out even more, consider one of the special editions that Chevrolet has created to give the Malibu even more visual flair. The Midnight Edition is, as the name implies, a blacked-out visual package including a black grille, black badging, black 19-inch wheels, and Mosiac Black Metallic paint. The Sport Edition also comes with 19-inch black wheels, black badging, and a black grille, but here it is available with more paint colors than just black. The Redline Edition is similar to the Sport Edition but takes the theme a bit further as the black wheels get red hash marks, the black badges get red outlines, and the side mirrors get the blacked-out treatment along with Redline decals.

Comfortable Practicality
If you’re looking for the maximum space you can find in a midsize sedan, then look no further than the Chevrolet Malibu. The Malibu is especially popular among taller drivers, as it offers more headroom than you would expect from this segment. Similarly, the 15.7 cubic feet of truck space is also well above average. When you need even more space, there is a 60/40 split-folding rear seat. Remote start comes standard so you can enter your vehicle at a comfortable temperature and the acoustic-laminated windshield and incredibly comfortable ride deliver a serene experience behind the wheel. The 1.5-liter engine also boasts up to a 36 MPG fuel economy rating on the highway without the need for an expensive hybrid system, making the Chevrolet Malibu an excellent road trip car.

Advanced Safety
You can’t really call a vehicle practical if it isn’t also safe but fortunately, the Malibu excels in this area as well. Thanks in part to the 10 standard airbags, the Malibu has earned a 5-star safety rating from the NHTSA**. But it’s not just about what keeps you safe if you get in an accident – you also want the right equipment to help keep you from getting in an accident in the first place. That’s why Chevrolet added a forward collision alert, following distance indicator, and automatic emergency braking all as standard equipment. Things like LED lighting, a rear cross-traffic alert, and Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone are available as well on the Malibu. To help you avoid even a mild fender bender at low speeds, there is available Rear Park Assist.
