What's New for 2026
There are no changes or updates to the iconic Chevrolet Tahoe for the 2026 model year. This doesn't come as much of a surprise due to the fact that the Tahoe underwent an extensive refresh just last year. Class-Leading Capability
The Chevrolet Tahoe is designed to handle a surprisingly large cross-section of uses, from school runs to hauling four-wheelers way out into the wilderness. The Tahoe comes with a standard V8, a 5.3-liter EcoTec3 that produces 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. If you're looking for more power, there is an available 6.2-liter V8 that puts out 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. And if you're looking to do a lot of towing and want to maximize torque, there is the available Duramax® turbodiesel 3.0-liter I6, which produces 305 horsepower and 495 lb-ft of torque. All of these engines are incredibly capable and versatile, whether you're towing, off-roading, or highway cruising on a long road trip. For a bit more off-road prowess, check out the Z71 trim, which comes with equipment like 20-inch wheels and all-terrain tires, aluminum skid plates and recovery hooks, and an Autotrac two-speed active transfer case.

Available Magnetic Ride Controlâ„¢ and the available four-corner adaptive air suspension deliver an incredibly smooth ride, which pairs nicely with the comfortable interior. Tech to help you tow is of course available too, including advanced features such as a Trailer Tire Health monitor, and a Trailer Navigation mode, which factors in the size of your trailer and clearance when calculating your route.
