About the Chevrolet Blazer EV
While it carries the same name and has a similar look to a conventional Chevrolet model, the Blazer EV is entirely its own vehicle. Built on the GM electric vehicle platform, it uses a highly advanced electric drivetrain while still offering everything you love about the highly popular Blazer. This is a highly practical SUV that will carry all of your groceries with no problem but can also hit 60 MPH in under 4 seconds. Revolutionary technology features including a standard 17.7-inch intuitive diagonal touchscreen display make it easy to stay connected and informed on the way to your destination. A full suite of active safety features helps instill a sense of confidence behind the wheel of the Blazer EV. There is no longer any need to compromise with the Blazer EV.
What the Critics Say
"Taking cues from the iconic Camaro and Corvette sports cars, Blazer EV has a stylish, colorful look all its own. SUV boxy-ness gives way to high, swooping shoulders and a low roofline. Compared to the upcoming Chevrolet Equinox EV, the Blazer's more sport-oriented ethos give it an absolutely head-turning shape - equal parts electric SUV and assertive, high-riding muscle car. Watch out, Mustang Mach-E." - Kelley Blue Book
"Chevrolet has gone all out with the cabin of the Blazer EV. This goes for everything, including the design, materials used, the technology, and the space that it offers. While the design is in keeping with the times, Chevy has maintained a good mix of buttons, dials, and knobs, unlike several automakers who're going for a screen-only setup. The Camaro-inspired rotary turbine-style air vents sure do stand out and add a touch of class." - TopSpeed
What's New for 2026
A few small tweaks have been made to the all-electric Chevrolet Blazer EV for the 2026 model year. Last year's rear-wheel drive variant of the RS model has been discontinued. RS trims are now available in your choice of front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. When it comes to exterior paint choices, Iridescent Pearl Tricoat has been replaced by a new Polar White Tricoat shade for 2026. Finally, a new Tech Bronze package is now available on the Blazer EV and includes 22-inch bronze-painted alloy wheels and black exterior decals.
Chevrolet Blazer EV Features

Next-Level Performance
If you're familiar with the conventional Chevrolet Blazer, you know that there is a performance-oriented RS version that imbues the midsize SUV with some real performance abilities. But that's nothing compared to what you can get with the Blazer EV. Designed to cater to the needs of performance enthusiasts, the range-topping SS boasts 615 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. That's enough to hit 60 MPH in under 3.5 seconds. SS models also come equipped with enlarged Brembo brakes in the front, so it'll stop quickly too. Another interesting feature of the Blazer EV is that it features your choice of front-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive, or all-wheel drive. There are plenty of EVs with a choice of two of those but having your choice of all three is almost unheard of.

Advanced Technology
Since the Chevrolet Blazer EV is built on the innovative GM Ultium platform, the tech in the Blazer EV was already a proven success before the vehicle even debuted. This modular platform is used for everything from small hatchbacks to heavy-duty military vehicles. Mounting the batteries on the bottom of the vehicle gives it a low center of gravity, a desirable quality for driving dynamics. The Blazer EV is also loaded with a host of other impressive features such as a 17.7-inch customizable infotainment touchscreen and Super Cruise hands-free driving. There's an available head up display and Advanced Park Assist, both of which make driving the Blazer EV even easier and more enjoyable.

Hassle-Free Electric Driving
The Chevrolet Blazer EV comes with a variety of different battery options and your range will depend on which of these you select. These are all impressive with the base LT rated for up to 312 miles of range and the RS being available with up to 302 miles of range. The Blazer EV can be charged at home using Level 1 or Level 2 charging, and DC fast charging is also available, giving you approximately 83 miles of range in just 10 minutes. The myChevrolet mobile app can help you plan more efficient routes and locate more than 40,000 public charging stations. Chevrolet has even made starting the Blazer EV convenient. Just get into the driver's seat with the key in your pocket, step on the brake pedal, and the vehicle turns without having to press the ignition button.
