About the Chevrolet Blazer EV

While it carries the same name and has a similar look to a conventional Chevrolet model, the Blazer EV is entirely its own vehicle. Built on GM's Ultium electric vehicle platform, it uses a highly advanced electric drivetrain while still offering everything you love about the highly popular Blazer. This is a highly practical SUV that will carry all of your groceries with no problem but can also hit 60mph in under 4 seconds. There is no longer any need to compromise with the Blazer EV.

What the Critics Say

"Taking cues from the iconic Camaro and Corvette sports cars, Blazer EV has a stylish, colorful look all its own. SUV boxy-ness gives way to high, swooping shoulders and a low roofline. Compared to the upcoming Chevrolet Equinox EV, the Blazer's more sport-oriented ethos give it an absolutely head-turning shape - equal parts electric SUV and assertive, high-riding muscle car. Watch out, Mustang Mach-E." - Kelley Blue Book

"Chevrolet has gone all out with the cabin of the Blazer EV. This goes for everything, including the design, materials used, the technology, and the space that it offers. While the design is in keeping with the times, Chevy has maintained a good mix of buttons, dials, and knobs, unlike several automakers who're going for a screen-only setup. The Camaro-inspired rotary turbine-style air vents sure do stand out and add a touch of class." - TopSpeed

Chevrolet Blazer EV Features

Chevrolet Blazer EV

Next-Level Performance

If you're familiar with the conventional Blazer, you know that there is a performance-oriented RS version that imbues the midsize SUV with some real performance abilities. But that's nothing compared to what you can get with the Blazer EV. Chevrolet hasn't released power figures for every trim of the EV yet, but we know that the range-topping SS will boast 557 horsepower and 648lb-ft of torque. Enough to hit 60mph in under 4 seconds. We also know that it will come with meaty Brembo brakes in the front, so it'll stop quickly too. Another interesting feature of the Blazer EV is that it will be one of the only vehicles in history to be offered with a choice of front-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive, or all-wheel drive. There are plenty with a choice of two of those, but all three is almost unheard of.

Chevrolet Blazer EV Super Cruise

Advanced Technology

Since the Blazer EV is built on GM's Ultium platform, the tech in the Blazer EV is already a proven success before the vehicle even debuts. The modular platform is used for everything from small hatchbacks to heavy-duty military vehicles. Mounting the batteries on the bottom of the vehicle gives it a low center of gravity, a desirable quality for driving dynamics. The Blazer EV will also come loaded with a host of other impressive features, such as a 17.7-inch customizable infotainment touchscreen, and Super Cruise hands-free driving. There's an available head up display, and Advanced Park Assist, all of which makes driving the Blazer EV even easier and more enjoyable.

Chevrolet Blazer EV Charging

Hassle-Free Electric Living

The Blazer EV comes with a variety of different battery options, and your range will depend on which of these you select. These are all impressive though, with the base 1LT coming in with 247 miles of range, and the RS being available with up to 320 miles of range. The Blazer EV can be charged at home, using Level 1 or Level 2 charging, and DC fast charging is also available, giving you approximately 78 miles of range in just 10 minutes. The myChevrolet mobile app can help you plan more efficient routes, and locate the more than 40,000 public charging stations. Chevrolet has even made starting the Blazer EV convenient. Just get into the driver's seat with the key in your pocket, step on the brake pedal, and the vehicle turns on, you don't even have to push a button.
